Beauty In the Broken
Having attended Mariners church service in Irvine, today was a special day. It was a service for healing and also a service for communion. Observing those that had participated in the sacred act, I saw couples holding each other shedding tears and showing affection for one another. One particular young woman was nearing the end of her pregnancy, and held onto her husband as they said their prayers and delighted themselves in a romantic relationship gifted to them by God. When you think about how relationships are supposed to be as per the Word, it is such a beautiful sight. Though we as people are so unworthy, so broken and in despair, God still continues to bring out the beauty He instilled within His creations revealing His plans, His mercy, and His glory.
